This is not a distant ambition: it is the strategic direction that shapes every partnership we build, every banking relationship we deepen, and every transaction we execute today. The global energy transition is the most consequential economic event of our lifetime. It will require more capital investment over the next thirty years than any infrastructure buildout in human history. Africa will be at the centre of that buildout as both a producer of the critical minerals that make the energy transition possible, and as the continent with the greatest unmet demand for energy access. GTH Sarl intends to be positioned on both sides of this equation: producing the energy Africa needs today, and developing the clean energy infrastructure that will power Africa’s economy tomorrow. Petroleum trading operations: GTH Sarl’s roadmap targets the establishment of a proprietary petroleum trading desk buying crude oil and refined products (AGO, Jet A-1, PMS, fuel oil, LPG) from international suppliers and selling into CEMAC markets where our distribution relationships give us a genuine origination advantage. This trading activity will be anchored by our existing SBLC and banking instrument capability, which allows us to make transactions bankable in markets where others struggle with counterparty credibility
